Alliance
Transportation, Inc. began its operation in 1987 as a private carrier transporting
raw materials (rock, sand, cement, & fly ash) for a sister company,
Mid-Continent Concrete Co. The company began with 7 trucks and has grown
into a separate corporation operating as a common carrier and continues
to service approximately 32 Mid-Continent plants with a current fleet of
90 trucks and trailers. The size of our operation allows us to also service
construction projects in Northeast Oklahoma, Northwest Arkansas, Southwest
Missouri, and Southeast Kansas. The scope of our operation allows our drivers
to be home at night. Alliance
operates Peterbilt and Kenworth tractors in our end dump and dry bulk
divisions. The trailers in our end dump division are 39 feet aluminum
Vantage, 26 feet Travis, and 26 feet APE steel specialty units. Dry bulk
division operates Heil, Fruehauf, and Vantage pneumatic trailers. Our
specialty equipment (steel trailers) provides us the opportunity to haul
cargo such as concrete, asphalt, rip rap, clay, waste materials, etc.
Alliance tractors are equipped with Caterpillar electronic engines, air
conditioned cabs, and air ride suspensions. Most of our trailers are also
equipped with air ride suspensions.
